Multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Clinic
Multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Clinic
Receiving a diagnosis of a brain tumor can be frightening. The physicians in the Multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Clinic combat this fear with compassion, expertise and cutting-edge research. Together, we work strategically to ensure personalized treatment recommendations that will maximize the benefits for each individual. Whether you’ve received a new diagnosis of cancer or are seeking a second opinion after prior treatment, an appointment at the clinic will allow patients to access the brain tumor expertise and clinical trial options only available at University of Michigan Health.
Our Approach
In the multidisciplinary clinic, patients with brain tumors will be seen by expert physicians in the three specialties most crucial for successful treatment: Neurosurgery, Neuro-Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. This will offer your patient a thorough consultation, including immediate access to our Brain Tumor Board discussion and an opportunity to be evaluated for eligibility for any of our clinical trials.
