Blistering Skin Disorders (Immunobullous Disease)
What are blistering skin disorders?
Blistering skin disorders and immunobullous diseases are autoimmune conditions that cause blistering, open sores, and itching on the skin and mucous membranes. The body's immune system mistakenly attacks the structures that hold skin cells together or connect the skin to the underlying tissue, leading to blisters and skin lesions.
