About
Dr. Chames is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Chames completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at Wayne State University. He completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, and a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Chames has led the development of Michigan Medicine's prenatal care guideline. He is also an active educator, directing the MFM subinternship for senior medical students. In addition, he is on the Michigan Medicine Clinical Promotions Committee and has served on the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology's quality improvement committee.
