About
Dr. Jeffery Montgomery's clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of bladder, prostate, and penile and testicular cancers. With his advanced training in urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques, such as robotic, laparoscopic and complex open surgery, he is able to deliver state-of-the-art care to his patients. He has expertise in state-of-the-art diagnostics for prostate cancer, including prostate MRI, fusion prostate biopsy, and transperineal standard and fusion prostate biopsies. He has extensive experience performing advanced robotic surgery, including prostatectomy, cystectomy with intra-corporeal urinary diversions, and inguinal lymph node dissections. Dr. Montgomery's research focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of urologic oncology disease management. Dr. Montgomery is a Michigan native and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He then went on to complete his medical education at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York before finishing his Urology residency at the University of Michigan. He completed his urologic oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
