    Dr. Skinner is an Associate Professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Assistant Director of the OBGYN Clerkship, at the University of Michigan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

    She graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2005 as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society member, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Hospital in 2009. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Indiana University Hospital in 2011. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Skinner is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has achieved a Focused Practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

    Dr. Skinner provides medical and surgical care for a wide variety of benign gynecologic conditions, including abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, benign disease of the ovaries, and endometriosis. When surgery is indicated, she is happy to offer minimally invasive options, allowing faster recovery and return to usual activities.

    Dr. Skinner specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomy and myomectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, and hysteroscopic procedures.
