  • About

I grew up in a working class family in a small town in Illinois. Caring for children was the primary goal that steered me into a medical career. My pediatric and cardiology training were at St Louis Children's Hospital / Washington University. I trained for two years in pediatric electrophysiology under Professor J. Philip Saul at the Medical University of South Carolina. My wife and I love living in Ann Arbor and have two school age boys. I have been the Cubmaster of a local pack for over 5 years and enjoy volunteering my time to help children outside of the hospital. My free time is spent as the family cook and in activities with my children.
