Back and Pain Center
Founded in 1979, we offer a broad range of the most advanced treatments for acute, cancer, and chronic pain problems in a supportive, compassionate environment. Our high rate of patient satisfaction and our longevity are the result of the consistent top-quality medical care administered by our dedicated team of pain specialists.
The Headache and Neuropathic Pain Clinic
We provide advanced clinical services for people who experience headache and facial pain. Following a careful evaluation of our new patients, treatment options are discussed including medications, lifestyle modification, pain-related procedures and alternative therapies such as vitamin supplementation.
The Adult Acute Pain Service
We consult with and treat patients with post-surgical pain and chronic pain. Our leading therapies include patient-controlled medications, spinal cord and brain medications, electrical nerve stimulation and other nerve blocks. Our service functions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additionally, an acute pain nurse, house officer and faculty anesthesiologist are on call each night for pain management issues that arise.
The Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center
We are committed to improving recognition, understanding and management of disorders distinguished by symptoms of chronic pain and fatigue such as Chronic Multisymptom Illnesses, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Gulf War Illness. Our goals are to advance the understanding and treatment of these illnesses, and to educate the public and the medical and scientific community. View our website here.
