Computed Tomography (CT/CAT scan) Computed tomography is offered for diagnostic studies of all parts of the body. Among the special applications of computed tomography of the abdomen are CT scans to assess resectability of cancer and response to therapy, determine the source of unexplained fever, and help plan for nonsurgical treatment of aortic aneurysms.

General Imaging (X-ray) We offer general and musculoskeletal imaging for adult patients. No appointment is necessary for chest, abdominal and bone X-rays.

Ultrasound Ultrasound examinations on all parts of the body including liver, gallbladder, renal (kidney), thyroid are available for both adult and pediatric patients. Obstetrical and gynecological (including endovaginal) applications are also offered. Among the special applications of ultrasound are breast, prostate and other cancer detection; duplex and color flow Doppler evaluation of blood vessels. Ultrasound guidance for biopsy, hernia evaluation, percutaneous aspiration, hysterosonography, and abscess drainage, intraoperative procedures are performed at the main University Hospital. Musculoskeletal ultrasound scans are performed at the main University Hospital and also at the Med Sport clinic.

Bone Densitometry High performance, fanbeam, Dual X-ray densitometer to assist physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring or osteoporosis by measurement of bone density.
