Caring for the whole person — not just the cancer patient
At the Rogel Cancer Center we offer support patients -- and their families -- during treatment. A patient's cancer care team includes not only the subspecialty doctors and nurses, but cancer specialists in psychology, social work, art therapy, nutrition, finance, and countless other areas through our patient and family support services. This support is fully integrated into the patient's treatment plan because we know that cancer affects not only the organs of the body, but the whole person and the whole family.
Our renowned Rogel Cancer Center is also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, a consortium of premiere cancer centers formed to develop national guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality, and cost-effective cancer care.
