Biography

Dr. Silver, professor of internal medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School, specializes in treating patients with blood cancers. He is active in promoting quality of oncology care in the community, including as director of the Michigan Breast Oncology Quality Initiative, which looks at the oncology care of patients with breast cancer throughout the state. Silver is also assistant dean for research at the U-M Medical School.
