Biography
Dr. Kristy Bauman received her medical degree from Wayne State University, in 2002. She completed Internal Medicine residency in 2005 and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 2008, both at the University of Michigan. Dr. Bauman holds three board certifications; Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Her clinical interests include advanced lung disease, advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, and neuromuscular disorders. Research interests include pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis, lung transplant outcomes, and bronchoscopic therapy for advanced COPD. She joined the faculty at the University of Michigan in July, 2008.
